"Lived up to the hype! Thin, incredibly lightweight, easy to set up!!
Picture quality is hard to describe. Fantastic is not enough!! The images jump off of the screen...either 3D or as if the actors/actresses on the screen are actually in the room with you!!! I have started watching movies again because of this TV.

"This was my first LED TV and I couldn't be happier!  When I first saw it I was walking down the isle at Bestbuy an it caught my eye.  I couldn't believe how real the image looked...it looked like the actors were really right in front of you...freaky, but a good freaky.  The UN55B8000 was my best purchase of the year (except I got it when it was 3200).

What's not so great: not crazy about remote but doesnt matter to me, wont be using it

"I have spent months deciding on an upgrade to my 42" Sony rear projection tv. Most recently i had narrowed it down to the Samsung 8000, 8500 and the LG HH5590. LG had a far worse picture to me and the design was atrocious. I was able to get the 8000 on sale at BB for 2500 and couldnt justify the price difference to get the full back light LED 8500. I have read many reviews about the glowing white light from the corners and edges so i was somewhat hesitant but from my experience i didnt notice anything other than an amazing picture. I am very happy with this TV, would absolutely recommend it and can't wait to get it mounted on the wall with the Samsung slim mount."

"the great thinkg to this TV is new tech and compare to the Pioneer Elite not too difference but the price is soo far difference that's why I choose Samsung. Picture look great and clear (bright). I was shoping for the TV for about 4 days straight. First i like Pioneer but now when I look deep to this TV and more detail I decided to take Sumsung 8000 serie. You are not gonna disappointed to this TV also you gonna love alot. Don;'t worry about speaker you gonna hook up to home theater any way

"Great LED thus far. Picture is amazing and looks great on wall. Killer feel when watching BD and sports with surround sound. I have yet to encounter any major problems and do not anticipate it, I hope. The sound quality is fine because I use my reciever to listen so I don't really oncover this problem yet. Other than that, I am loving it and watch it every chance I get. Must have for sports fanatics."
